Mountbatten School Badminton Club based in Romsey meet each Tuesday night (times stated below). We have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for players of a reasonable standard. Both men and women play in mixed-doubles matches - that way, more people get to play in games involving players of various abilities. We all play for fun, the social side of the game and to keep ourselves active and fit.
How many games you play depends on how many courts we use and how busy it is on the night. To play, you will need a badminton racket, training shoes and clothes suitable for running around in. Shuttlecocks are provided.
Every Tuesday evening from 19:30 to 21:30. Times may vary so please check with a committee member regarding changes to times.
Please note:
Players must be over 18 years old and be of a reasonable standard. Players should be aware of current Badminton rules and scoring, competent enough to serve, and actively participate in competitive rallies.
The club is open to adults of reasonable ability. You do not need to be a member to join in and play although we do restrict non-members to five visits before requesting to join. Joining the Romsey based Badminton Club gives you weekly court time in a friendly and relaxed environment. We use the sports hall of Mountbatten School in Romsey. Why not come along and have a go yourself as a visitor?

We normally welcome visitors up to 5 nights. We are not a training club so new members need to be of a minimum reasonable standard. Nightly/yearly subs are subject to changes.
At the moment, our badminton club is NOT ACCEPTING any new members or visitors. However, you are welcome to e-mail us to join our waiting list: info@mountbattenschoolbadmintonclub.co.uk and we will keep your details on file incase any new places become available.
The club consists of approximatley 35 members of ages ranging from 18 to 60, and beyond.
